Not so long ago Baffi & Mo’s was the new kid on the block, but with the recent surgance of cafe’s and bars in the area it feels more like an old favourite. Although original owners Anne Cooper and Louise Hunt have moved on (to the recently opened Orto Trading Co.) this small Redfern cafe hasn’t lost its good looking charm. Baffi and Mo offers a great selection of hearty breakfast and lunch options in a relaxed, cosy and inviting space. Grab one of the ‘window seats’ and watch the  eclectic daily life of Redfern unfolding or sit on the larger communal table and catch a glimpse of the chef’s at work in the open kitchen. The decor is simple but tasteful. . . monochromatic wallpaper, cement, timber and wrought iron furniture pieces, sat inside large glass windows all with a quirky, ‘Baffi & Mo’ edge.
